...or is it? We may want to revisit the use of quoting HS graduation rates when discussing how great the US education system is... Obviously this is edited for the story and I'm sure there were PLENTY of kids that could answer but still, it struck a chord and I thought it was funny. And by the way,this video probably contains more factual information than 90% of those silly "Common Core is dangerous for our children" videos that so many people love to spread through social media news.yahoo.com/college-students-fail-us-senator-142856377.html

I may have more to say about this later. But initially, this speaks volumes about the worthlessness of the college entrance and selection process more than anything else. The only other disclaimer I would quickly point to, is the home states of the dopes at American University were not identified. I would like to hold out some hope that none of them were from Wantagh, at least.
But, public education in America is broken, and worse than I had ever imagined that is may have been. Just not here, in our school district, or in any of the those district in which my grand children attend school.
