Akìwowo was a famous conductor who faithfully ensured that the passengers on his train did not miss the train. Trains were new to Nigeria, and provided important, no, vital means of transportation there. This song, performed by Babtunde Olatunji, became a big hit in the U.S. in the sixties. Here is a link Akiwowo to YouTube. Or, if drums are not what you like to listen to, then, instead, you could read about the most recent shout-down of the NY State Commissioner of Education by LI teachers, parents, and now students, upset (poor choice of words here) over the Common Core.
