Yes, congratualtions to Maureen and the Board of Education!
Our "home-grown" leaders have had excellent, long and successful records of accomplishment in Wantagh.
Success in this position requires skill, courage, and a good heart. Not luck, really.

Timing, I would agree with, as a component of luck. But not pure luck, not dumb luck, not lotsa' luck.
We could probably better debate the definition of "success" in this job, in Wantagh, than we could define the element of "luck" as a factor in attaining success.
