This is football season and the MLB Playoff season, with the Yankees holding a razor-thin 1-game lead in the AL East with 2 games to play. This is also Presidential election season, with the first debate taking place this very week. There is a lot happening to captivate the interest and attention of most people this month and into early November.
There are truly important issues crying for attention and resolution in the Wantagh School District at the same time. However, with the public in rapt fascination with sports and national politics, this may not be the best time to be drawing attention or applying heat, here. There is either little or no audience, or, what audience may exist is preoccupied with all the front page and back page news.
There are also due process issues, with emphasis on "process". I am suggesting a short hiatus while the Yankees and the Presidential candidates slug it out in their respective arenas, and while due process proceeds slowly but inevitably along its mostly confidential pathways here in the district.
Just a suggestion, for sure. The World Series will be over, and we will know who wins the White House in a little over one month's time. I am for keeping my powder dry for a while.

PS - World Series Game #7 if needed, November 1st Election Day, November 6th , results November 7th.

Chris, you ccommunicate very welll...May be the school district should hire you instead of its current PR firm, but I tend to disagree with you on keeping silent. After all that the school district went through, it woud be nice to just get occational updates as to what is going on. You keep mentioning the phrase "due process". I would at least like to hear from the BOE as to what that entails...Somehow, this Board has lost their way, and my trust...Why do I sense that they are hoping that these severe problems just go away, and they can sweep the matter under the rug!! I say no way!!! The Board only appears to respond to the media, and I hope the media stays on top of these issues...I really would like to know if these bullies are still in the classroom, and if so, why?? If these goons are still in the classroom, maybe the media needs to hear about it!!!
