We originally hired Dr. Bonuso back in the early 1980's, I think as Assistant Principal of the Junior High. It was the same night we hired George Besculides as Assistant Superintendent for Instruction. Carl has had a very long and successful experience at Wantagh.
His wisdom, professional leadership and steady hand are exactly what we need at this particular moment, as the search goes forward for a new, permanent Superintendent.
I have a very good feeling about this situation, about Carl stepping in for the short term.
