Michael Sapraicone resigned last night, effective October 6th. He has been a board member since 2006. Too much business travel, as the company he owns started a London office. Seaford Board President said both vacant BoE Trustee positions will be filled with interim appointments to be made at the October 6th meeting. Sapraicone will participate in that meeting, after which his resignation will take effect. (Good move!) Our former Counsel, Chris Venatore, was reportedly the target of some passionately pointed questioning from an audience member who had (on another forum) identified herself as one of the nine potential candidates to replace resigned BoE Trustee John DelGuidice who had resigned hastily at the opening of the July Re-organization meeting. This in not the first time in recent memory that Seaford has had two BoE members resigned from the board effectively at the same time. Story on Patch: wantagh.patch.com/articles/another-resignation-from-seaford-school-boardCuriously, Patch is not accepting reader comments about this report. You can probably imagine how I feel about that! Chris Wendt
