In the usual mode of producing excellent performances, congratulations to all who worked on, participated in, directed, supervised or supported this year's production!
Another job well done!

"Well I did it folks... I attended a performance of Beauty and the Beast at Wantagh High School. I hadn't been in the building since Back to School Night, and aside from a very pleasant conversation with one of my daughter's teachers in December, I haven't had any interaction with any of the school's faculty and/or staff.
So what did I see?
Smiling kids, lots of them, and their parents, and then there were teachers, a bunch, smiling too. They were all, like, interacting as if they all genuinely liked each other. Some of the teachers had their own children there, and their kids were interacting with our kids, and it was all just so human.
And it reminded me of how happy I've been with my kids' teachers over the years. Save a very few incidents (all of which were quickly resolved), My wife and I have been nothing but pleased with the education that our children received throughout the years.
And the production? Fantastic for a high school production. The costumes, the music, the acting, all reflected hours of preparation. When I spoke to a few of the kids, they all spoke so highly of the teachers who were involved, about how giving they were of their time and energy.
It all just seemed to utterly contradict much of what has been posted on this website: The kids are suffering. The teachers don't care.
That kind of nonsense.
I have got to say... after seeing what I saw, I am one proud Wantagh resident. "
